The sunlight keeps peaking out from behind the English clouds, temporarily but it's still making an appearance. But this fleeting sunlight is making me want to jump on a plane! So I thought I would write my travel wish list for this year. We all have one, a list of the places we'd love to visit and this changes for what ever reason but I thought I would share my wish list with you. So here it is my Travel Wish List for 2016!
I have been lucky enough to visit a few of the Greek islands already, Skiathos, Kefalonia, Zante, Crete and the mainland and each of the islands has been as picturesque and as memorable as the last. Rhodes has always been on my hit list, a great mix of history, ancient architecture and golden beaches makes for a brilliant holiday. I'm not one for excessive amounts of sun lounging, I burn far too easily, so I really enjoy exploring the local area.
Bilbao would make a lovely weekend away! Explore the city, soak up the culture, walk along the river bank and visit the Guggenheim, sounds like a fabulous mini vacation. Bilbao hasn't been on my hit list for very long but its going to stay for a while I think.
Another beautiful, historic town and wants better, its wine country! A lovely weekend away wine tasting, taking in the sites and spending lots of time exploring the little streets of the georgous city.
Canada always holds a sweet spot in my heart because I was born in Toronto. This would be a bit more of an adventure holiday, portaging, camping, hiking and spending all of my time in the stunning Canada forests! This holiday will happen and I can't wait! Get me back to Canada.
I could keep adding to the list but this post would go on for pages and pages! These are just my top 4 places at the moment, I want to knock one of these (hopefully two) off the list this year but we shall see whats this year brings! Whats your wish list? Your lists may inspire me to change mine! Like me on Facebook, follow me on Twitter and find me on Instagram to keep updated with all the goings on at Sophie Howard Interiors! Until next time...
