Its October already! I cannot believe it but with October brings new starts for me. Yesterday was my first official day as a Masters Student! I have decided to go back to school and study my Masters in Interior Design. I cannot wait to get stuck in and I'm sure I will keep you all posted as the days go on! But as we say goodbye to September here are some of my September Favourites.
When the seasons start to turn I always gravitate to this colour. Its a gorgeous warm, burgundy, plum, wine red thats beautiful in the Autumnal months. This time of year it always makes an appearance in fashion as well and beauty and I want to show you a few ways to bring it into your spaces. Because it is such a rich colour it brings warmth and depth into our interiors which start to feel colder by the end of September.
Upcycled GPlan Furniture
Those of you who follow me on Instagram will know that I have recently bought a Gplan style sideboard for our new flat and I'm in love with it! The Gplan style has made a huge come back recently but I'm really liking the modern/upcycled twist some people are putting on them too. I am 'umm'ing and 'ahh'ing about whether to up cycle it or not as it is in spectacular condition for its age! But looking at these pictures really makes me get the painting itch. Who knows, in a year it could be a different colour but for now here is some inspiration!
Yes I know, I have spoken about Copper in many pervious posts but I am still OBSESSED with it! Its warm, metallic, rich, opulent and just amazing! So here are a few more Copper accessories to get your Copper inspiration flowing (I'm going to make you all love Copper eventually).
So there are the things I am loving for this month. I hope this gave you some inspiration to have a look at some interiors or accessories that you normally would over look! Please feel free to like, comment and share this post. Like me on Facebook, follow me on Twitter and find me on Instagram to get updates daily. If you have any ideas for posts or need any interior advice I would love to hear your design dilemmas! I'm always up for hearing what your obsessed about at the moment so please send me an email or just comment below!
