Happy November! We are in the last two months of the year and what a year it has been. Being nominated for an Amara Interior Blog award for the second year running and I have just found out that I have been nominated for a UK Blog Award in the lifestyle category which is so exciting! I've moved flat and moved again, I'm reaching the end of my masters degree and next year will really be the start of a whole new chapter in my life. But for now, here are the things I have been loving this month...
Over sized Ottomans
Ottomans are great for filling space. Similar to a coffee table, Ottomans can be styled and dressed up. Personally, I love large square Ottomans they are bold and make a statement! A great chance to add a pop of colour or a clashing print too.
I've been after one of these for a while now, especially with the party season just around the corner. I just can't seem to find anything so I think I'm going to have to resort to a bit of DIY. But I do love the one pictured below with the pull out drinks making platforms, very clever! I also love the colour.
I have been seeing Heather everywhere this year. I'm not sure if it was a popular last year, I don't remember seeing any to be honest but this year it seems that everyone is Team Heather! It's rustic and country and raw and such a beautiful colour. Tied around this candle it makes a great accessory or place a bunch in a short square vase for a bit of juxtaposition.
In case you missed my post all about the Living Walls event I went to I'll link it here. I am obsessed with living walls at the moment! I am still yet to find a negative for them and I want one inside and on the facade of my forever home eventually. They are so beautiful, can be personalised with plants and flowers that you prefer and has soooooooooooo many health benefits it's hard to see why everyone doesn't have one already.
There you have it, my October Favourites! Hope you enjoyed them. What have you been loving this month? Let me know, I'm always interested in seeing what you're obsessed with. Your obsession could become my obsession next month! Until next time...
