November Favourites

So my last blog post was the 10th of November! I have been so rubbish I apologise. All of my attention is going into my final university deadline (the 12th of December by the way), so I have not had time for anything else...I'm becoming a hermit!

But I have some exciting news for you all...I've been nominated for a UK Blog Award!!!! I'm honoured and very humbled by this, thank you to whom ever nominated me, thank you, thank you, thank you! Voting opens on the 5th of December, all you need to do is follow this link and and cast your vote. If you read my blog and keep coming back and like what I'm putting out there then please vote for me. Every vote counts and each vote spurs me on to keep creating content for you all!

Also...because of my silence recently I have decided to do a blog series in celebration of Christmas. A lot of vloggers do 'vlogmas' where they vlog every day in December leading up to Christmas. As my deadline is the 12th I am going to do my version...'12 Days of Blogmas'. I'm going to be putting up a blog post everyday for 12 days starting on the 13th of December. I'm really excited to create this for you all and I hope you enjoy it!

But first here are my November favourites...

Gold Inlay

This detail is so chic. I love it, I think it's something a little different and help to add an elegant touch to your tiles. I think I would use it more for statement flooring rather than wall tiles but it will definitely add something extra special to your space.

Copper Tap

I also tend to choose gold and copper over silver finishes, I have always preferred gold to silver jewellery too. This copper tap and shower is beautiful! It contrasts so well against the grey finish on the walls and adds a feminine touch to a fairly masculine looking shower room. A great combination.

Wall Tapestries

Wall hangings have exploded onto the scene recently. Not sure whats caused this sudden surge in popularity but they are a great addition to your spaces. This one below is very etherial, the  watercolour print makes a beautiful statement and a lovely addition to your space.

Blush Velvet

Its nearly the end of the year and I'm still obsessed with this colour! Its soft and warm and lush. Choose velvet as the fabric to showcase the beautiful colour and you have the perfect combination. The colour has been huge this year and I'm sure it's not going away any time soon either.

Circular Mirrors

Mirrors are always a brilliant addition to any space, they bounce light around a room and give the illusion of more space. I have definitely had a thing for circular mirrors recently, I just think they look a lot softer than square or rectangular ones. They look beautiful above a sideboard in a formal living room or dining room.

So there you have it, my November favourites! It has definitely been a manic month but bring on December. Don't forget to vote for me in the UK Blog Awards from Monday 5th of December and keep an eye out for my '12 Days of Blogmas' starting on the 13th of December. Happy December! Until next time...

Much love,

Sophie
