Where has May gone? Its been a crazy month for me...birthdays, university deadlines and we moved out of our flat! Its been non stop but its been a great adventure. So here are my May favourites from a crazy month.
This is a trend that has been around for ages, but I still love it! I noticed during the move that our office chair is now broken, so I have been on the look out for a statement chair to replace it. These are great, the retro/tub chair feel is perfectly paired with a bold colour or patten. It would make a perfect addition to my office space.
Nest of Tables
Another oldie but a goodie. The nest of tables is a brilliant space saver and classic side table. The gold hardware on this set brings it right up to date and the mirrored tops add an elegant touch.
Something else I noticed in the mood is that we are in need of a bookcase/shelving unit for our growing collection of books. We have a great and growing collection of cookbooks, novels and design coffee table books which used to live in our sideboard, but I think it's time to put them on display. So I am on the look out for a bookcase/shelving unit/display cabinet piece. This one is modern and elegant and the different level of the shelves creates a real focal point.
I have always had a love of vases but at the moment I adore square ones. They are beautiful, structured and they make your space look perfectly styled. They make a great dining table centre piece or a focal point for your entrance hall table.
So there you have it my May favours from a manic month. I hope you all enjoyed your May and are looking forward to the sun that June will hopefully bring!
