Festive Spirit

So I know its not even November yet, but I am getting into the festive spirit by making my own christmas decorations! I used to love felting when I was in high school, and used the technique throughout my Textiles GCSE's and A-Levels. So I thought I would use that techniques again and ended up creating these Christmas decorations! Which are available to buy at my Etsy store www.etsy.com/uk/shop/CraftsbyHoward or if you fancy having a go yourself just comment below and I will put up a tutorial of how I made these.

Here are a few other hand made (unfortunatly not made by me) felt creations for your inspiration.

Table Runner

This is a great idea to personalise your table decoration for Christmas lunch. Pick your colours to match your table wear and glasses and you have a brilliant combination to add something extra to your table.

Knitted Ornaments

Anyone who is a dab hand with a knitting/crochet needle should have a go at creating these beautiful, playful tree ornaments. There are a great way to add a bit of colour to your traditional scheme and are great for those with young children because their soft and don't smash.

Centre Pieces

These are little rustic centre pieces that are very simple to make. Just gather small flower pots, candles and shrubbery from the garden to create these adorable centre pieces.

I hope these spur your imagination to create some beautiful pieces for your Christmas. Whether it be a wreath, ornaments or something for the table, make your Christmas a homemade one.
