Wallpaper is making a comeback! And there are some pretty fab prints you can get now a days. Patterns to glam up a room, to make it see more rustic or just the obscure...theres no end to the effects that can be printed. Today I would like to stray from the traditional print wallpaper and focus more on the eye catching, dramatic, modern interpretation.
The Large Image
This type is great for children's rooms, a single blown up image can do wonders to create a quirky edge to the space. You could even be bold and put this little guy in a living room.
This always draws the eye and, when used correctly, can play tricks on the eye as well. This mural is positioned, scaled and angled so well it breaks the boundary of the space making it interesting and playful to be in the room.
This is a great way to update parts of your home in an easy unique way. Putting wallpaper on the rises of your stairs is a modern twist on a classic decor tool. It adds a bit of fun to an otherwise overlooked place and this mix and match effect is fab!

I am absolutely in love with this wood effect! It gives the room a completely different feel and adds texture and warmth. I hate rooms that look 'over done', and this slightly dishevelled, rustic looking wallpaper is a great way to un-do the 'over done'.
