August Favourites 2016

It's September already! The days are getting shorter already and people are starting to countdown to christmas already! Its been a pretty blurry month for me and because of that I haven't really had the time to sit and have my quality 'me time'. I have magazines I haven't flicked through yet and blog posts I haven't read, safe to say I'm a little on the 'me time'. But in and amongst all of that chaos I've still found things to fall in love with! So here are my August Favourites...

Ceramic Crockery

I have been obsessed with this stuff for ages now! I love it and I'm seeing it everywhere too! I really want to get my hands on some for my future home asap. I love the raw feeling to it and the tactile nature of the pieces. Defiantly going to be a firm favourite for a while!

Blue Cushions

Everyone knows I am in love with blue and this month I have been loving blue pattern. A great way to mix and match patterns in using the same colour way on different cushions. Its a fab and simple way to create a boho look to your space. This image is a great example of how this can work really really well!

Ink Spill

Similarly to watercolours, I think ink spill is beautiful! The patterns it creates is so natural and unforced, it's just a happy, poetic accident and I love it! This wall mural is perfection and a great alternative to wallpaper.

Pink Tiles

Pink is not usually a colour I am drawn to but these tiles are fab! They add warmth and a touch of fun to a clinical space. Pink, again is not usually a colour used in bathrooms either but I think it works brilliantly against the exposed copper piping, giving the space a more glamorous look.

Tonal Bookshelves

This idea, although not the most practical, looks amazing. I'm a big fan of anything tonal and by turning your books' spine to face inwards allows the paper edge to show and creates a beautiful, subtle look that showcases a beautifully styled bookcase! Defiantly something I'm going to have to try.
